Harmen De Jong

MANAGING PARTNER
SECTOR EXPERTISE: HOSPITALITY

Harmen is a Senior Advisor at TCN GCC and a Partner in Knight Frank’s Development Consultancy service line. He has advised Clients on optimum investment strategies pertaining to capital projects with a combined value of over USD 100 Bn. in geographic markets such as the Middle East, Asia, CIS, and South America on behalf of investment funds, real estate developers and hotel management companies. He has been based in the Middle East since 2006 and has been involved in a number of large scale mixed-use projects with leading real estate developers and (semi) government authorities. His strengths include real estate development strategy, feasibility assessments, highest and best use analyses and he is a well-versed financial modeler. The size of projects he has advised on vary from standalone hotel resorts to large townships with an anticipated population in excess of 30,000 inhabitants. His key responsibility with TCN is to grow the firm’s Development Management service line in the region. In addition to Dutch, his mother tongue, he is proficient in German and Indonesian.

Kaveh Samsamy

SECTOR EXPERTISE: MASTER PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS, RESIDENTIAL, MIXED-USE, COMMERCIAL, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL

Kaveh is a Partner at TCN GCC and responsible for the Development Management service line. He has delivered projects totaling over USD 2.5 Bn. in gross development value for blue-chip international real estate developers in various GCC markets. He has extensive knowledge in master-planned mixed-use communities, high-density residential developments, and greenfield residential villa community projects.
His key responsibility with TCN is to execute the firm’s development advisory projects and serve as point-of-contact to Clients in the region, providing strategic development advisory services with a Client-side business approach. Kaveh holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) with a concentration in international development.
