Kaveh Samsamy

Functional Expertise: Master Planning
Kaveh is a Partner at TCN GCC and responsible for the Development Management service line. He has delivered projects totaling over USD 2.5 Bn. in gross development value for blue-chip international real estate developers in various GCC markets. He has extensive knowledge in master-planned mixed-use communities, high-density residential developments, and greenfield residential villa community projects.
His key responsibility with TCN is to execute the firm’s development advisory projects and serve as point-of-contact to Clients in the region, providing strategic development advisory services with a Client-side business approach. Kaveh holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) with a concentration in international development.
Alexander Haex
Director – Maritime & Logistics

Alexander is a Director with 20 years of experience in Port and Industrial Zone complexes in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, succeeding in senior management roles with leading multinational companies and flagship projects. He has a proven track record in strategy development, commercialization/implementation with accountability for key business results. He successfully managed multicultural teams that consistently exceed targets.
During his tenure with Sohar Industrial Port Company, KIZAD and ADPC, Alexander has spearheaded the development of logistics and maritime clusters. These clusters featured warehouses, offices and other supporting real estate components. Given his involvement in light industrial FMCG clusters in the UAE and Oman, Alexander Haex is well placed to provide strategic input into the development process of any logistics, light industrial and maritime developments.

Adrian Jonklaas, CFA

Adrian brings a wealth of real estate consulting experience to TCN GCC especially where it involves financial and scenario analyses. As a previous head of consultancy of a GCC based real estate advisory company, he also brings valuable insights into the consulting process, having been a career consultant himself. In that capacity, Adrian is involved in the overall quality assurance process.
Over a decade of consultancy, Adrian has worked on hundreds of feasibility and highest and best use studies including prestigious master planned developments such as Yas South and The Wave as well as single tower projects such as the Taj JLT, resorts such as The Ritz Carlton, Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, and shopping malls such as Bahrain City Centre. Having worked with the majority of tier 1 shopping mall developers in the region, Adrian was an early member of the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres, a speaker at retail events, and a contributor to retail industry publications. He is a CFA charterholder and has an MBA from the Hankamer School of Business, Baylor University.

Sam Sidiqi

Sam Sidiqi is the Chairman and Co-founder of Silk Road Mining and Development in Afghanistan. For 7 years Sam was CEO of listed real estate companies in the Middle East; RAK Properties listed in Abu Dhabi and NREC listed in Kuwait. Before that he spent 8 years at Agility Logistics working in M&A, strategy, and operations across a number of Agility’s global locations. Sam started his career at Bain and Company in Boston as an Associate Consultant. Sam is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained an MBA from the Wharton School with a major in Strategic Management and an MA from the School of Arts and Sciences. He is a Palmer’s Scholar, a Fellow of the Lauder Institute Global MBA program and an alumnus of the Arabic international program. Sam is also an alumnus of MIT where he obtained Bachelors degrees in Economics and Political Science after which he spent a year as a Fulbright Fellow in Egypt.
